  • borrow library resources
  • access the reference service for professional advice by phone, fax, e-mail or in person
  • search the Library Catalogue and subscription databases from your own desktop, or request a literature search
  • access fulltext of articles where available, or request copies of articles to be emailed to you
    • sign up for the current contents alert service - Library Briefs


    What do Libray Staff do?
    • When our clients (you) contact us, they may have a specific item they are looking for, but usually they have a topic, and are looking for the best articles or books to answer their questions or support them with the topic.
    • We search the catalogue and the databases for suitable books and articles
    • We send the client search results by email.
    • The client responds to the email by choosing the resources they think will be most suitable.
    • We get the resources needs either from our own resources or request them from other libraries.
    • We send the books out by post, and email articles.
